We made some improvements to the UI with this update. You’ll notice a new appearance, which we hope is better and more appealing to work with.
All the paths are the same and the layout is the same so this should not be a disruption to the way you work. We have taken strides to not be disruptive to the admin panel you've become accustomed to. Having said that, there are some changes that will be noticeable.
The Menu
The old menu was text-based and while that was easy, it took up a lot of critical room on the dashboard |
The new menu is icon-based and gives much of that critical space back to reports and information in the dashboard |
If you need to see the text, simply scroll over the arrow box at the top of the menu. Leaving the menu area will auto-disappear the text. |
Richer Search Results
In the old system, you were presented with a simple column layout with the ability to toggle to different views of information (contact info, donation history, professional, mailing, etc).
With this refresh, we have created 3 different templates. Each one pushes more of the key information that you have used on this form. Use the one you want. The system remembers your preference for the future.

Take Action on select results
This is not a new feature but it is drastically improved. This allows you to search for a list of people (by relationship, geo, name, etc) and select any subset of them to take action on.
To active the Select Records mode just click the checkbox icon at the top:
This will alter the view with checkboxes to every record, where you can select records and take action with your chosen group.
